Scheduled outage of the nntp and list server

On Tuesday, 2007-07-31 14:00 UTC (16:00 CEST) the NNTP (Newsgroups) and mailing list server will be upgraded.
The current operating system is Debian Sarge which is quite outdated and thus needs to be upgraded to Debian Etch (the current stable). Afterwards we can profit from the latest stable software revisions available from Debian.
The outage will start on Tuesday, 2007-07-31 14:00 UTC (16:00 CEST) and takes about two hours. Of course such an upgrade does usually not proceed without any noise, so Michael Stucki and I are on standby to solve problems popping up after the upgrade. Just drop an email.
