Upgrade of the NNTP and list server succeded
The upgrade of the NNTP and mailing list server has been successful. Some cleanups are still in progress
The upgrade of the TYPO3 community's NNTP (News) and mailing list server has been successfully completed. The task has not been completed at 100% yet, some cleanup work is still due. The remaining things to do are not affecting the operation of the services and will be done in the next few days.
The outage begun at approx. 14:30 UTC (16:30 CEST) and ended at approx. 16:30 UTC (18:30 CEST), so it was slightly off the scheduled mainenance window, but did not take longer than expected.
Now the fundation is built to work further on anti-SPAM measures which still surges some mailing lists.

is it by purpose that attachments and HTML Messages are allowed on the mailing lists? I think this is new since the update of the servers and AFAIK has never been before...
