Born to run.

Category: Olivier Dobberkau, TYPO3, Personal

The TYPO3 runners.

This last June the folks from AOE Media and d.k.d ran the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge. This Corporate event is on of the largest runs in the world.

More than 69.000 people gather to run a 5.2 km long course thru the city of Frankfurt, Germany.

We teamed with around 40 people to run and raise aware of the TYPO3 Brand. It was big fun. Weather was perfect as we crossed the starting line. Jens created great running shirts and we all looked very nice in orange.

The main aim of the JPMCCC is to create a positive experience with your working colleagues. This goal was fully achieved!

Never the less we also thought that it would be great if we could run and raise some money for TYPO3. We succesfuly raised around 236 EURO thru the Helpedia portal. If you are from Germany you can still donate to this action. (Others please use the official donation form on TYPO3.org!)

Hopefully this will be not the last run for the TYPO3 Running Team!
