Daniel Hinderink has invited all TYPO3 association Members (active and non-active) to the 2008 general assembly in Amsterdam.

I hope not to breach any intellectual rights or trademarks by posting parts of the invitation here. :-)

Please contact me until the 21st of february if you want your questions to be heard in this assembly and note Article 12 of the statuses of the TYPO3 Association.

Applications that are to be handed to the general meeting of members, must be
submitted to the chairman [of the managing board] in writing and justified at least 14 days before the [date set for convening the] general meeting of members."

The assembly will be held at "The Waag", a location in the city center.

The general assembly is the annual meeting of the active members, which has various legal functions as outlined here:

association.typo3.org/about/general-assembly/

The general assembly is also offering the chance to apply for support by the TYPO3 Association for your projects.

The application in the form of a document describing the purpose, the funds and other ressources needed and a profile of the applicant is to be sent to me as the secretary of the board: daniel(at)typo3.org.

Please use the subject "application for project funding".

Applications must be submitted until the 22. of February, later entries will not be elegible for funding in this years budget.

The facilities at the Waag have a maximum capacity, we do not guarantee that all attendants can be accomodated. Attendance is only open to members of the Associaton.

A protocol will be made available though this mailing list after the GA."

Please let me also know if you interested in organizing a members night, since no plans have been announced officially yet. Or if you want to accomodate in a nearby Hotel.
