As we're really close to make it into the top three projects, I would like to encourage everyone to vote for us on the Hackontest website.
Hackontest is a programming competition that starts on September 24, 10am and ends 24 hours later. During this time, three teams will be working on a feature that has been chosen by a jury just before the event starts (most likely they will choose the feature that got the highest number of votes). The coding takes place in a room that will be equipped with desks, sofas, Internet, pizza etc. located within the OpenExpo area. Visitors of the open source conference and exhibition OpenExpo may look into the Hackontest room and the screens of the programmers, but they may not enter the room.
At the end of the event, the jury will review the new code and award the winning team. And of course this work will directly go back into the next version of TYPO3!
Among TYPO3 there are many more Open Source projects that can be voted for, like Debian or OpenOffice.org.
You can help us by either voting for a feature, suggesting new features, or volunteer as an implementor.
Thanks in advance for your votes!
